Aerospace & Defence

Deloro specialises in small to medium size structural and non-rotating components. Utilizing our air melt and vacuum casting capability plus pressed and sintered Powder Metal production we are meeting the most exacting standards of the civil and defence aviation industry.

A variety of degradation problems exist in aircraft engines as a result of metal to metal wear, fretting, hot corrosion, particle erosion plus others. This degradation is accelerated due to the high temperature conditions involved. Deloro can supply a range of nickel and cobalt superalloys which can be applied in order to increase the life of certain engine components.

Typical Deloro alloys seen in the Aerospace industry are Tribaloy™ 400, Tribaloy™ 800, Stellite™ 694 and Stellite™ 31 which are commonly supplied in powder form or fine TIG Rod form. Our wrought alloy Stellite™ 6B is also used extensively for critical aircraft components. Deloro casts a range of superalloys such as  Inconel™738, Inconel™792, FSX414, Hastelloy™ X and Inconel™939 to name a few for engine hot gas path components. In addition to our air melt and vacuum castings we offer pressed and sintered parts and can finish these components in-house to meet your specification.
